Lisa Grant, RYT200
Lisa was originally drawn to yoga as an enlivening form of exercise, but soon realized the deeper benefits of a daily practice—finding a mindful, inner experience that changes how it feels to be alive. She believes her role as teacher is helping students find ease and enjoyment in their practice, even in a difficult posture or on a difficult day.

She is a graduate of the 200-hour Alignment Yoga teacher training with Scott Anderson, and has studied Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga with David Turner. She continues to study with Andrea Russell who has been her primary teacher for several years.

Professionally, Lisa is a physician specializing in Internal Medicine. Her medical knowledge and experience enhance her teaching. She offers safe and appropriate modifications so that all students can experience the health benefits of a regular yoga practice—a more supple body and a calmer mind.

When not teaching yoga, Lisa enjoys sailing, SUPing, martial arts, and motherhood.
